Status Update: Data Feed for Prices
Hi everyone,
Before I get into the main announcement, I’d like to give a quick status update on the site.
If you noticed the live price lookups acting up over the last 24 hours, someone was aggressively scraping the site for data. Because of that, our external API call limits were completely maxed out, it triggered a critical warning from Cloudflare letting me know I hit 100% of my limits instantly, and resulted in several of our live price sources offline.
Current Status:
- eBay & Read Left Manga: Fixed and fully operational.
- Amazon: Still down, but currently serving data from cache.
- Books-A-Million & Biblio: Operating as usual.
This site is a solo passion project that I design and maintain during my free time. Some of these API sources cost me money to run and have strict limits. Because of that, I rely on budget tiers to keep the site online. When someone hammers the endpoints with automated scripts, it burns through those limits instantly and makes the tool unusable for everyone else.
If you need a massive data dump for a project, please don't scrape the live site. If possible, just reach out to me directly via email or the feedback form and I can let you know whether or not your project is feasible with my current infrastructure.

Read Left Manga Added as a Source
After a few months of testing and debugging, I'm finally ready to announce that I've officially partnered with Read Left Manga and added them as a source to manga prices! I've been working with the founder over the past few months to make this happen, so it feels really good to finally get it out there.
Who is Read Left Manga?
